GPU Picks operates as an independent index and research directory. This page outlines how we aggregate rates, evaluate hardware, and construct recommendations so you can evaluate our work.

No hands-on benchmarks

We do not operate hardware or run paid GPU benchmarks. Every pricing figure and specification on this site comes from public provider dashboards, developer documentation, and manufacturer specifications. We never present third-party benchmarks or estimated numbers as our own hardware tests.

Where our data comes from

  • Pricing: We pull rates directly from public provider pricing pages and developer documentation. Every row in our lookup tool includes the date of our last check and a link to the primary source page.
  • Specifications: We verify memory configurations, bandwidth, and architectural details using official manufacturer datasheets from NVIDIA and AMD.
  • Availability: We monitor status pages and inventory signals to assign status bands (high, medium, low, or variable) instead of displaying false real-time precision.

How we choose recommendations

We weigh price, availability, and the workload fit (such as serverless inference vs. distributed training). While decentralized marketplaces offer the lowest entry costs, managed clouds provide necessary SLAs and support. We outline the trade-offs of each pick rather than claiming one provider fits all scenarios.

Keeping it current

GPU cloud pricing changes frequently. We update our database regularly and display the exact verification date on every table. If you spot a stale rate, let us know and we will correct the database.

Corrections

We correct database and editorial errors immediately. Accurate, verifiable data is always our priority.
